A new outdoor oasis is now open on the Delaware River waterfront.

SugarHouse Casino launched Fishtown Hops in June, offering locals and visitors a new open-air beer garden at which they can wile away the summer days and nights. Located about 2.5 miles from your Dalian on the Park apartment, Fishtown Hops is the latest addition to Philly’s blossoming beer garden scene though, unlike most others, this one will remain open even after the summer sun fades.

Fishtown Hops is located right on the water, providing for a picturesque backdrop for sunset sips and snacks. With the Philly heat now upon us, the riverside venue is also one of the best places to cool off.

With so many beer gardens in the city this summer, what sets Fishtown Hops apart? The venue prides itself on its extensive and varied beer list. Fishtown Hops has 10 craft beers on tap, all handcrafted right in our region. They can be served up in a glass, or cash in on deals with pitchers and flights. Stop by from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday for a half-off special on draft pitchers. There are also 10 canned-beer options and an array of craft cocktails, many of which are perfect for summer, like the lemonade-infused Sugar Shandy and the mouthwatering Watermelon Cucumber Margarita.

Fishtown Hops also puts its own spin on your favorite bar foods, from pulled-pork fries to mac n’ cheese crab bites. There are some Philly influences incorporated into the food menu as well, like with the Philly cheesesteak rolls and layered cheesesteak nachos.

When you’ve had your fill, you can always head inside and take a spin on roulette or play a hand of poker. There’s no cover at Fishtown Hops so guests can pop back and forth from the beer garden to the casino whenever they’re feeling lucky.
